Intro
The Church of South India (CSI) has a global diaspora, with many expatriates living across the United States, Canada, the Middle East, Africa, the U.K., and Europe. Far from their home dioceses, many experienced a sense of disconnection. Out of this need, the vision Reconnect, Revive, Reach Out was born.
Vision & Genesis
This vision was prayerfully embraced by leaders including Edla Emmanuel, Ravi Asoda, the late Golla Vinay Kumar, late Sunil Kumar Edla, late Busammal Sunil Kumar, Christopher Bandari, and Dasari Sanjay. Together they sought to create a space where expatriates could reconnect, revive their spiritual lives, and reach out to others in their local communities.
Launch of the Family Conference
In 2014, the first CSI Family Conference was held in the United States. It has since become a platform for worship, testimonies, and renewal—celebrating God’s faithfulness and strengthening bonds among the diaspora.
Growth & Expansion
WhatsApp groups helped members stay connected year‑round. By God’s grace, the vision grew beyond the U.S. to the Middle East, the U.K., and Europe—fostering spiritual fellowship and mutual support across regions.
A consistent rhythm of monthly Zoom prayer unites participants from different continents for intercession, encouragement, and growth in faith.
As we look forward, the vision remains strong—to keep reaching out, reconnecting the diaspora to their roots, and strengthening believers wherever they are.
